Prizes on competition «Grand-Star of Russia 2009»

The international specialized packaging exhibition Rosupack, which is the biggest and most prestigious exhibition in the field of packaging in Russia and Eastern Europe, was held for the 14-th time on June, 15-19 this year in Moscow.

The Ekotek Group has participated in this exhibition many times, and this fact was noted by the organizers “The International Exhibition Company” by the certificate of the permanent participant. This year, in spite of the difficult economic and financial situation, Ekotek , as well as many other Russian and foreign companies, decided not to change the long-standing traditions and to show at the exhibition its innovations, look at the achievements of the colleagues, take part in the business prgram of the exhibition,discuss the current problems in the and their solutions in the field of packaging.

The offiicial opening ceremony was attended by Alexander Krutov, the Deputy of the State Duma, Andrey Zagorsky, the President of Ekotek Group, the President of the National Packaging Confederation ( NKPack) ( on the right), Alexander Boyko, the President of the Sub-Committee of the Russian Federation Trade –Industrial Chamber on the pakaging development and the General Director of NKPak, Vladimir Chuykov,the President of the exhibition ROSUPACK 2009 , the President of the Board of Directors of GOTEK Group, Alexander Puzikov, the President of the PACKMASH Association.

In the course of the opening ceremony of the exhibition the rewarding of the winners of the National Contest for the best packaging and the delivery of the diplomas to the exhibitors, having anniversary dates in 2009, were taken place.

The area of Ekotek Group covering 54 sq.m., presented the followng companies : label printing office EKOTEK- PLUS, strategic partner- one of the biggest producers of the packaging material in Russia - VarioPak, long-standing partner of Ekotek group Italian company Alimac. Both companies JSC EKOTEK-PLUS and JSC VarioPak were also among the winners of the contest GRAND STAR RUSSIA-2009. The diplomas were given to our colleagues- Yan Taraponov , the General Director of JSC VarioPak (on photo) and Anatoly Shaitan, the Commercial Director of JSC EKOTEK-PLUS.

During the exhibition our stand, which was situated at the convenient place near the entrance to the Hall 3(one of the four halls at the exhibition), was attended by many participants and guests of the exhibition.

At present the exhibition ROSUPACK is an immanent part of the packaging market. The main target of the exhibition at the crisis times is to form most comfortable conditions for the cooperation of the producers and consumers, for solving their current, technical, financial, strategic tasks, defining the demand, provision of efficient talks. For the exhibitors this is an excellent way to supprt the sales and increases the number of sales channels, for the visitors this is an opportunity to find new producers at conenient conditions. 66% of the visitors came to the exhibition to meet producers. The exhibition was attended by more than 17,000 specialists of the packaging industry.

For the convenience of the exhibition it was divided in the topical way and presented itself as the whole system of specialized displays; ROSUPAK (tecnologies and equipment for packaging production, packaging materials, ready-made packaging), UPACKMASH (packaging machines and technological lines), Logistics and Storage (storage services and logistics), FOODMASH ( equipment and technologies for food and processing industry), Alumpack (aluminum packaging), Luxpack ( premium packaging).

The space of more than 28,000 sq.m. was occupied by the expositions of the Russian and foreign companies from USA, Germany, Italy, France, Austria, Spainn, Finland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Belarus, Turkey, Korea, India and other countries.
