Prizes in “ProdExtraPack-2009”

The 4th National Contest for the best food and drinks package and label “ProdExtraPack-2009” has finished. It was held in the 1st half of February within one of the largest Russian and eastern European international exhibition “ProdExpo-2009” in Moscow.

Label printing-office of Ekotek Group received two prizes in “Label” nomination:

1. Label for “Bagration” brandy

In finishing of series of labels for made in Russia aged brandies it is used technologies of hot foil stamping, relief stamping and shaped blanking. The technology of hot foil stamping allows decorating of printed production with application of sophisticated dies that have elements for microrelief stamping. They can also fulfill the function of goods protection from falsification.

2. Series of labels for “Bochkarev” beer

Collar label for bottle neck is produced from a damp-proof label papers. This label is interesting as a first example in world practice in production of large-circulation beer labels with usage of perforation and hot foil stamping (two kinds of foil).
