Drinktec, the World Fair for Beverage and Liquid Food Technology in Munich.

Drinktec is a very famous trade fair for the sector of beverage industry. It takes place once a four years and presents all range of products and equipment for beverage production, filling and packaging.

The leaders of Ekotek Group headed by its president Dr. Andrey Zagorsky and vice-president Mr. Sergey Stepanischev visited the exhibition in order to establish new business contacts and strengthen the relations with current partners. Among them the most important place belongs to the old-established strategic partner of Ekotek Group - German company “Haendler & Natermann”, which is a part of “Constantia” group of companies (more).

This co-operation based on a long-term agreement concerning strategical partnership includes deliveries of various types of labels (aluminium foil, metallized paper, plastic) to Russian market, marketing research connected with beer and softdrinks industry, introduction of new label models, joint participation in Russian and foreign exhibitions.

The visitors to Drinktec 2009 came to Munich in autumn to demonstrate the technology for production of soft drinks, beer, alcoholic beverages, energy drinks, milk products based on yoghurt, fruit juice. A large number of foreign visitors (32%), participating in the exhibition, proves it to have a high international status.

At the same time the fair has a large part of regular customers: each second visitor attends Drinktec not for the first time.

Traditionally Drinktec takes place almost simultaneously with the famous beer festival “Oktoberfest”.
